Who you are

You have ideally 8 to 11 years of related experience in a customer-facing role, with 5 to 7 years of experience in pre-sales with enterprise software. You possess a minimum of 3 years of experience with modern scripting languages such as Python, Node.js, and SQL, as well as popular programming languages like C/C++, Java, and C#. Your background includes designing scalable and highly available distributed systems in both cloud and on-prem environments. You have demonstrated the ability to work with customers to review complex architecture of existing applications, providing guidance on how to improve by leveraging MongoDB's solutions.

You are a seasoned technical sales professional who understands the importance of aligning technical solutions with customer needs. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with sales executives to solve business problems and drive deals forward. Your experience has equipped you with the skills to be a trusted advisor to a diverse range of users, from startups to large enterprise IT organizations.

Desirable

Experience with cloud technologies and a strong understanding of database management systems will set you apart. Familiarity with the MongoDB platform is a plus, as is a proven track record of successful pre-sales engagements. You are comfortable navigating complex technical discussions and can articulate the value of solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the design and implementation of reliable, scalable systems using MongoDB's data platform. You will collaborate with sales teams to identify customer needs and tailor solutions that meet those requirements. Your role will involve conducting technical presentations and demonstrations, showcasing the capabilities of MongoDB to potential clients.

You will engage with customers to understand their business challenges and provide expert advice on how to leverage MongoDB's solutions to achieve their goals. This includes reviewing existing architectures and recommending improvements that enhance performance and scalability. You will also play a key role in winning deals by effectively communicating the technical advantages of MongoDB's offerings.

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the Pre-Sales organization. You will stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring that you can provide the most relevant and effective solutions to customers. Your contributions will directly impact MongoDB's success and customer satisfaction.
