MOO is hiring a People Generalist to establish local culture and support their South African team. You'll manage the operational lifecycle for MOOsters, ensuring they thrive from day one. This role requires experience in People Operations and a passion for process optimization.

You are an experienced People Generalist with a strong background in People Operations. You thrive in dynamic environments and are comfortable managing multiple priorities while bringing a fresh perspective to the role. You have a passion for process optimization and problem-solving, and you are not afraid to challenge the status quo to discover better ways of working. You understand the importance of data and best practices in designing effective solutions that support the team.
You possess the ability to work independently and handle specialized tasks with confidence. Your experience allows you to identify risks before they become issues, ensuring a smooth operational lifecycle for the MOOsters in South Africa. You are committed to fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring that every team member has the resources they need to succeed.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be pivotal in establishing MOO's local culture as the company launches its South Africa site. You will own the end-to-end operational lifecycle for the South African team, ensuring that all processes are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with the People Team to bridge the gap between seamless People Operations and strategic People Partnering.
Your responsibilities will include managing various HR functions, from onboarding new hires to supporting employee development initiatives. You will work to create an environment where MOOsters feel valued and empowered to contribute to the company's success. You will also be responsible for implementing best practices in People Operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
