Who you are
You have a strong background in operations management, particularly within the financial services or banking sector, and are ready to lead a team focused on claims handling for the German market. Your experience includes managing complex operational processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You possess excellent leadership skills, enabling you to develop and motivate a high-performing team while fostering a collaborative environment. You are adept at setting priorities, allocating resources effectively, and removing obstacles to ensure operational success. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across various departments, including Product, Legal, and Customer Service, is a key strength.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be the operational anchor for claims handling, responsible for the end-to-end processes that ensure compliance and risk management. You will lead a team dedicated to improving customer outcomes and lowering operational risk through continuous improvements. Your responsibilities will include defining and tracking team KPIs and OKRs in collaboration with Banking Operations leadership, overseeing the handling of complex cases, and managing relationships with outsourcing partners. You will also be involved in designing and delivering training to partners on complex case handling, ensuring that all team members are equipped to handle edge cases effectively. Your leadership will be crucial in driving operational excellence and ensuring that the team meets its objectives.
