What you'll do

In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the security landscape of cloud-based solutions for various government agencies. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a comprehensive information security program tailored to meet the unique needs of federal contracts. This includes ensuring the security, compliance, and integrity of cloud solutions primarily hosted on AWS. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, compliance, and leadership teams to design and deploy secure systems that meet regulatory requirements. Your contributions will directly impact the effectiveness of government services, making them more accessible and reliable for the public.

You will also engage in strategic business development efforts, identifying opportunities to enhance Nava's offerings and expand its impact in the public sector. Your expertise will guide the development of proposals and solutions that address the challenges faced by government agencies. You will mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the team, sharing your knowledge of best practices in DevSecOps and cloud security.
