Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in security operations, with at least 5 years of experience leading Security Operations Centers (SOC) and managing incident response functions. Your expertise in threat-adversary thinking allows you to define detection strategies that align with organizational threat models and crown jewels. You are skilled in reducing false positives and alert fatigue, ensuring high-quality alerting and triage processes.
You possess a deep understanding of security automation tools, including SIEM and SOAR, and have successfully implemented these technologies in cloud, data center, and enterprise environments. Your operational excellence is complemented by your ability to lead teams through crisis management and incident response, ensuring that your organization is prepared for any security challenges.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the day-to-day operations of the Security Operations Center, leading a team of security professionals to monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents. You will define and implement detection strategies that are aligned with Nebius's threat models, ensuring that the organization is well-protected against potential adversaries. You will also be responsible for leading the incident response function, managing end-to-end incident handling processes, and coordinating crisis management efforts.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to continuously improve security operations and incident response capabilities. This includes developing and refining processes for alerting, triage, escalation, and reporting. You will also focus on enhancing the team's skills and knowledge through training and mentorship, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
