You are an experienced Software Engineering Manager or Technical Lead with a proven track record of leading full-stack engineering teams. You have a strong technical background and are capable of delivering scalable, reliable, and high-performing systems. Your leadership style is empathetic, and you prioritize developing talent through coaching and feedback. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional partners in Product and Business to drive execution and innovation. You understand the importance of aligning technical outcomes with broader company strategy and are committed to fostering a high-trust team environment.
You have experience in building inclusive and flexible team cultures where every member feels empowered to grow and take smart risks. You are strategic yet hands-on, able to define long-term vision while supporting day-to-day operations. You are passionate about shaping the direction of your platform and products, ensuring that your team is not only productive but also engaged and motivated.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead and grow the UK-based full-stack engineering team at NerdWallet. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical outcomes and fostering a strong engineering culture.
