What you'll do

In this role, you will lead and grow the UK-based full-stack engineering team at NerdWallet. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical outcomes and fostering a strong engineering culture. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive execution and innovation, ensuring that the team is aligned with the company's broader strategy. You will play a key role in shaping the direction of the platform and products, influencing how the team builds, works, and scales.

You will conduct regular one-on-ones with team members to provide coaching and feedback, helping them to develop their skills and advance their careers. You will also be involved in hiring new talent, ensuring that the team continues to grow in both size and capability. Your role will require you to balance technical leadership with people management, creating an environment where engineers feel supported and empowered to do their best work.
