Who you are

You have 8+ years of accounting experience, ideally with a background in a large multinational audit firm. Your educational foundation includes a bachelor's degree in accounting, such as a Chartered Accountancy degree or CPA. You possess a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and have basic knowledge of SOX compliance. Your attention to detail is exceptional, and you have a genuine love for data, which drives you to produce high-quality work. You are proficient in using Excel, particularly with pivot tables, and are comfortable managing large data sets. Your enthusiasm for designing and building automated workflows in accounting sets you apart.

What you'll do

As a Senior Content Accountant at Netflix, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of content and content-related transactions. You will analyze large data sets that inform critical business decisions and help automate workflows to enhance efficiency in accounting processes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will scrutinize important numbers and formulas for accuracy, reconciling accounts and solving problems as they arise. Your role will involve continuous improvement of accounting practices, contributing to the overall success of the Content Accounting team.
