Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong foundation in electrical systems and are eager to expand your hands-on knowledge across a wide range of building operations. Your experience includes installing and troubleshooting commercial lighting, receptacles, panels, circuits, and controls. You are familiar with current NEC codes and understand the importance of safety and efficiency in facility operations. You thrive in collaborative environments and can adapt to the evolving needs of a fast-paced workplace. You are driven to solve real-world problems and keep the systems behind the scenes running at their best.
What you'll do
In this role, you will install new electrical wiring or equipment according to current NEC codes, ensuring compliance and safety in all installations. You will be responsible for the installation and troubleshooting of commercial lighting, receptacles, panels, circuits, and controls. Your work will include new installations of power distribution, transformers, lighting, temporary construction power, and electrical equipment up to 240VAC. You will collaborate with a team of skilled technicians, electricians, and HVAC specialists to maintain seamless operations within the facilities. Your adaptability and problem-solving skills will be crucial as you navigate the challenges of maintaining a complex infrastructure.
