Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in engineering, particularly in designing systems that ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Your experience includes working with software-focused design control systems, where you have successfully embedded compliance into the architecture of these systems. You are skilled in applying systems thinking and creative problem-solving to build durable compliance infrastructures that support rapid development.
You understand the importance of eliminating ambiguity and reducing manual effort in engineering workflows. Your ability to design scalable and efficient systems is complemented by your commitment to quality and safety in the development of medical devices. You are a proactive team member who thrives in collaborative environments and is eager to advance the team's mission.
What you'll do
As a Design Controls Engineer at Neuralink, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving software-focused design control systems. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that regulatory compliance is embedded into the architecture of these systems. You will work closely with the Quality Systems Team to develop systems that support the full software lifecycle, enabling rapid and reliable development of regulated medical device software.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that compliance is integrated into engineering workflows rather than treated as a manual or reactive function. Your role will involve applying your expertise to build a compliance infrastructure that exceeds FDA expectations while facilitating fast iteration and deployment of complex, safety-critical software products.
