Who you are

You have a BS degree in a technical discipline and at least 3 years of relevant experience in DDR design. Your expertise in RTL design allows you to create high-quality designs that meet performance and power specifications. You thrive on solving complex challenges and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.

You are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of digital design principles. Your experience includes writing detailed design specifications and test plans, ensuring that your designs are robust and reliable. You are familiar with using formal tools and static checkers to guarantee RTL quality, and you understand the importance of driving functional and code coverage.

You are passionate about silicon bring-up and performance characterization, and you take pride in delivering bug-free first silicon. Your ability to communicate effectively with architecture, circuit designers, and verification engineers makes you a valuable team member. You are eager to contribute to a dynamic group that is dedicated to crafting products that inspire millions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will perform concept studies to provide direction on performance, gate count, and power for various digital designs. You will write detailed design specifications and collaborate closely with architecture and circuit designers to ensure alignment on project goals. Your responsibilities will include providing high-quality RTL descriptions, including assertions, for your designs.

You will support design verification efforts to ensure that the first silicon is free of bugs, driving functional and code coverage as well as timing closure for your designs. Your role will also involve supporting silicon bring-up and conducting performance and power characterization to validate your designs against specifications. You will be an integral part of the DDR PHY design team, contributing to best-in-class PHY designs for high-performance, low-power applications.
