You have over 12 years of experience in software engineering, particularly focused on data platforms, and at least 6 years in a management role. You possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a Master's preferred. Your leadership style emphasizes alignment with company goals and fostering a high-performance culture within your teams.
You stay current with data-related technologies and have hands-on experience with tools like Snowflake, Kafka, and AWS. You understand the importance of integrating customer and business requirements into engineering efforts, ensuring that your teams deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable data solutions.
You excel in managing vendor relationships and third-party implementations, ensuring that all aspects of the data platform are well-coordinated and executed. Your ability to recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent is a key part of your success in this role.
What you'll do
As the Director of Engineering for the Data Platform at NICE, you will lead the engineering organization responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the company's data platform. You will oversee the entire lifecycle of data platform components, from design and development to testing and deployment, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality.
You will manage resource planning and delivery milestones, ensuring that your teams are well-equipped to meet operational demands. Your role will involve establishing and enforcing development standards, tools, and methodologies that align with industry best practices.
