You have a strong background in regulatory compliance, particularly within the financial services sector, and have a proven track record of ensuring adherence to local and international regulations. Your experience includes working closely with regulatory bodies and understanding the complexities of compliance in a fast-paced environment. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively advise and collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization. You are detail-oriented and have a strategic mindset, allowing you to foresee compliance challenges and proactively address them. You thrive in a hybrid work environment, valuing both in-person collaboration and remote flexibility. You are passionate about building a culture of compliance and integrity within the organization.
What you'll do
As the Director of Regulatory Compliance & MLRO, you will lead the compliance function in Singapore, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met while supporting the business's growth objectives. You will oversee the compliance advisory process, providing guidance to various teams on regulatory matters and best practices. Your role will involve monitoring transactions to detect and prevent financial crime, including money laundering, and ensuring that client onboarding processes are robust and compliant. You will collaborate with the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer to develop and implement compliance policies and procedures that align with the company's strategic goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for training and educating staff on compliance issues, fostering a culture of compliance throughout the organization. You will also engage with regulatory authorities and represent the company in compliance-related discussions.
