You have extensive experience in regulatory compliance, particularly in the financial services sector. Your background includes working with compliance frameworks and ensuring adherence to local and international regulations. You possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to assess risks and implement effective compliance strategies. You are adept at managing client relationships and can handle escalations with professionalism and efficiency. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to convey complex compliance issues clearly to stakeholders. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to achieve compliance objectives.

What you'll do

As the Lead - Regulatory Compliance at Nium, you will be responsible for overseeing all compliance matters within the organization. You will ensure that the policies and procedures are accurate and updated in real-time to reflect regulatory changes. Your role will involve daily escalations for Nium clients globally, focusing on client onboarding and transaction monitoring. You will play a crucial role in detecting and preventing financial crimes, including money laundering and terrorist financing. Collaborating with various teams, you will help foster a culture of compliance throughout the organization, ensuring that all employees understand their responsibilities in maintaining regulatory standards. You will also be involved in training and educating staff on compliance-related topics, helping to build a knowledgeable workforce that prioritizes compliance in all operations.
