You have a strong background in cybersecurity architecture, with a focus on designing secure systems that meet regulatory requirements and business needs. Your experience spans multiple industries, particularly in financial services, where you've successfully implemented security frameworks that protect sensitive data and transactions.
You are well-versed in cloud security, particularly with AWS, and understand how to leverage its services to enhance security posture. Your ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders makes you a trusted advisor within your organization.
You have a proactive approach to identifying security risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies. Your analytical mindset allows you to assess security incidents and develop robust incident response plans.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering, product, and integration teams to ensure security is integrated into every aspect of the development lifecycle. Your leadership skills enable you to mentor junior security professionals and foster a culture of security awareness across the organization.
Desirable
Experience with compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, GDPR, or ISO 27001 is a plus. Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
What you'll do
As the Senior Principal - Cyber Security Architect, you will define and govern security practices for Nium's payment infrastructure. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure that all applications and systems are secure by design and resilient to threats. Your role involves embedding security into application design decisions, authentication models, and client/partner integrations from concept through production.
You will lead security assessments and audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will guide the development of security policies and procedures that align with business growth and partner integration needs.
You will act as a trusted advisor to various teams, providing guidance on security best practices and risk management strategies. Your ability to communicate effectively will help bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that security considerations are prioritized in all projects.
