A background in robotics, including system architecture and state estimation, is also desirable.

What you'll do

As a Software Engineer on the Autonomy team, you will work on challenging problems that advance Nuro's self-driving technology. You will engage in machine learning and computer vision projects, focusing on perception tasks that involve processing data from cameras, lidar, radar, and thermal sensors. You will contribute to behavior tasks that enhance prediction and planning capabilities for autonomous systems. Your work will involve developing techniques for data training, model compression, and architecture search to ensure the deployment of robust models on robotic platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and improve the performance of our autonomy systems, ensuring they meet high standards of safety and reliability.
