Job Description

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in technical program management, particularly in systems engineering and validation processes. Your background includes working with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within scope. You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable working with data science and simulation tools to drive project success. You are adept at defining requirements and managing priorities, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned throughout the project lifecycle. Your communication skills allow you to effectively coordinate with various teams, including engineering, data science, and autonomy, to ensure that all aspects of the project are executed smoothly. You are committed to fostering an inclusive environment that promotes psychological safety for all team members.

Desirable

Experience in the autonomous driving industry or related fields is a plus. Familiarity with verification and validation tools and methodologies will set you apart. You have a proactive approach to problem-solving and are always looking for ways to improve processes and tools. A background in robotics or AI technologies would be beneficial, as well as experience in managing complex software development projects.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of systems tooling initiatives, from defining requirements to coordinating integration with simulation and autonomy stacks. You will ensure that the test and validation infrastructure meets the evolving needs of driverless programs, playing a key role in ensuring that Nuro’s driverless systems meet the highest standards of reliability and safety. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to empower them with world-class tooling and validation infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include managing project timelines, facilitating communication between teams, and ensuring that all deliverables meet quality standards. You will also be responsible for identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track. Your role will require you to stay updated on industry trends and best practices in systems engineering and validation, applying this knowledge to enhance Nuro's tooling capabilities.
