Job Description
Who you are
You have experience in manufacturing and assembly of aircraft and aircraft components, which is essential for this role. Your background may include composite fabrication, CNC machining, and knowledge of quality procedures, tolerances, dimensions, and specifications. You are familiar with critical and tight tolerance components, which is crucial in the aerospace industry. Additionally, any previous experience with drones or UAVs will be a significant advantage.
You are detail-oriented and understand the importance of precision in the assembly and integration of aircraft structures. Your ability to work collaboratively with engineers and other technicians will help ensure that airframe components and systems are built to the highest standards. You are committed to safety and quality, and you may hold an OSHA certification, which demonstrates your dedication to maintaining a safe working environment.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support the assembly, integration, and testing of composite and metallic structures across our aircraft platforms. You will work closely with engineers to build and install airframe components, propulsion mounts, wiring harnesses, and actuation systems. Your hands-on experience will be vital in ensuring that all components meet the required specifications and tolerances. You will be involved in the testing phase, where you will help verify that all systems function correctly and safely.
You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols, and following quality assurance procedures.
