Who you are

You are an experienced Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic with a strong background in maintaining rotary-wing aircraft, specifically the R66 and R44. You have a deep understanding of FAA compliance guidelines and regulations, ensuring that all maintenance operations meet safety and operational standards. Your attention to detail allows you to conduct thorough inspections and verifications of aircraft systems, confirming their readiness for flight. You are skilled in interpreting maintenance manuals and technical data, enabling you to perform precise repairs and component replacements effectively. Collaboration is key for you, as you work closely with technicians, pilots, and engineers to ensure seamless maintenance operations. You are committed to maintaining accurate documentation and records related to repairs and inspections, contributing to the overall safety and reliability of the aircraft.

What you'll do

In this role, you will execute both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on rotorcraft and experimental aircraft, ensuring that all work adheres to FAA compliance guidelines. You will conduct detailed inspections of aircraft systems, confirming their compliance with safety and operational standards prior to flight. Your responsibilities will include maintaining documentation and proper record-keeping of repairs, maintenance, inspections, and reports related to aircraft maintenance. You will interpret and apply maintenance manuals, engineering specifications, and technical data to perform precise repairs and component replacements. Collaboration with technicians, pilots, engineers, and other team members will be essential as you work to ensure the highest standards of safety and reliability in all aircraft operations. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving any maintenance issues that arise, contributing to the overall efficiency of the maintenance operations at Skyryse.
