You possess proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, and C++, enabling you to develop and optimize software for complex systems. Your experience with containerization technologies like Docker allows you to create scalable and efficient applications. You are comfortable working in collaborative environments, engaging with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. Desirable

Experience with modular avionics or networked FCC architectures is a plus, as is familiarity with software test and code analysis tools such as VectorCast and LDRA. You have an interest in UAS autonomy and perception, and you are eager to explore future GNSS-denied operations.

What you'll do

As a Software Engineer – Systems Integration at Odys Aviation, you will be responsible for developing and integrating software systems that enable unmanned aircraft to operate autonomously. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to design and implement software solutions that meet rigorous safety and performance standards. Your role will involve working on real-time data processing systems, ensuring that the aircraft can respond effectively to dynamic environments.

You will engage in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and testing. Your expertise in embedded systems will be crucial as you work on integrating various components of the aircraft's software architecture. You will also contribute to the development of CI/CD pipelines, streamlining the deployment process and enhancing the efficiency of software updates.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. You will stay updated on industry trends and advancements in UAS technology, applying this knowledge to enhance the capabilities of Odys Aviation's aircraft.
