Who you are
You are a compassionate and experienced Advanced Practice Provider with a focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered oncology care. With a minimum of 1-2 years of APP experience preferred, you are also open to new graduates who have prior RN Hematology/Oncology experience. You understand the importance of collaboration in a healthcare setting and are committed to providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing cancer treatment.
You thrive in a supportive private practice environment and are dedicated to working closely with a physician team to ensure the best outcomes for patients. Your ability to manage both outpatient and occasional inpatient responsibilities demonstrates your versatility and commitment to patient care. You are eager to contribute to a team that values compassion and excellence in oncology care.
What you'll do
In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing cancer treatment, primarily in an outpatient setting. You will collaborate with a dedicated physician team, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care throughout their treatment journey. Your responsibilities will include conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing education and support to patients and their families. You will also have occasional call responsibilities and participate in inpatient rounding as needed.
You will be part of a team that emphasizes a patient-centered approach, working together to deliver coordinated care that meets the unique needs of each patient. Your role will involve staying current with the latest advancements in oncology care and participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
