Who you are
You have 5+ years of backend engineering experience, particularly in building scalable systems that enhance user engagement. Your expertise in Python and SQL allows you to analyze data effectively and derive actionable insights that drive product growth. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including iOS and Android engineers, to implement backend solutions that support innovative product features.
You possess a strong understanding of REST APIs and have experience deploying applications using Docker and AWS. Your analytical mindset enables you to identify key areas for improvement and optimize existing systems for better performance. You thrive in environments where experimentation and data-driven decision-making are encouraged, and you are adept at translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable plans.
What you'll do
In this role, you will spearhead high-impact projects aimed at amplifying the user base of ChatGPT and Plus Subscribers. You will drive long-term growth through data analysis, product ideation, and experimentation, ensuring that product experiences are optimized for user engagement. You will partner closely with fullstack engineers to plan and deploy backend systems that power these experiences, focusing on optimizing account access, notifications, and SEO strategies.
You will be responsible for executing projects that require collaboration with research, product, and design teams, ensuring that all aspects of the product align with user needs and business goals. Your role will involve identifying pivotal areas where strategic initiatives can lead to significant impact, and you will be expected to communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
