You have extensive experience in commercial operations, ideally with a focus on deal governance and execution. Your background includes working closely with sales teams to enhance deal quality and speed, ensuring compliance with financial and legal standards. You possess strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset, enabling you to navigate complex transactions effectively. You are a collaborative leader who thrives in cross-functional environments, fostering partnerships across Sales, Legal, and Finance to drive operational excellence. You understand the importance of maintaining financial integrity while supporting rapid growth, and you are committed to continuous improvement in sales processes.
What you'll do
As the Deal Desk Senior Lead, you will be responsible for establishing best-in-class deal governance practices that enhance sales velocity and accuracy. You will oversee the end-to-end Deal Desk operations, including deal structuring, approvals, and contracting workflows. Your role will involve enabling go-to-market initiatives and ensuring alignment between quote-to-cash processes. You will act as a strategic partner to the Sales team, providing expert guidance on pricing, discounting, and contractual economics. Additionally, you will drive standardization and strengthen controls within the deal execution process, ensuring that OpenAI can scale efficiently across various products and customer segments.
