Desirable
Experience in a Deal Desk or similar role within a technology company is a plus. Familiarity with pricing strategies and discount governance will set you apart. A background in cybersecurity or knowledge of micro-segmentation concepts would be advantageous, as it will help you understand the products and services you are supporting.
What you'll do
As a Deal Desk Strategist at Illumio, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales team by structuring and pricing complex deals. You will act as a subject-matter expert for quoting and pricing, ensuring that all deals comply with company policies and governance standards. Your analytical skills will be essential in assessing deal structures and providing insights that drive sales effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with sales representatives to understand their needs and provide timely support for non-standard deals. Additionally, you will work with finance and legal teams to ensure that all contracts are executed accurately and efficiently. Your role will also involve developing and refining operational policies to streamline the deal process, contributing to the overall efficiency of the sales organization. You will be instrumental in supporting Illumio's growth across various channels, including Enterprise, MSP, and Marketplace.
