You possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to assess procurement data and make informed decisions that benefit the organization. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, and Security, ensures that all procurement activities are aligned with company objectives and regulatory requirements.

What you'll do

As the Procurement Operations Leader, you will own the operational backbone of OpenAI's procurement processes. This includes overseeing the intake-to-PO engine, ensuring that every request and supplier record is complete and policy-aligned. You will be responsible for strengthening controls and embedding automation into procurement workflows, allowing for a seamless purchasing experience across the organization.

You will collaborate closely with various teams to design and implement processes that facilitate touchless transactions while maintaining rigorous financial oversight. Your role will involve continuous improvement of procurement systems, ensuring they are scalable and efficient as OpenAI grows.
