Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in project management, particularly in managing complex infrastructure projects. Your experience includes cross-functional coordination between various teams, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle. You thrive in environments where you can bring together diverse teams to achieve common goals, and you have a knack for navigating the complexities of construction and technical implementation.
You possess a deep understanding of network infrastructure, including low voltage cabling and ISP connectivity. Your technical knowledge allows you to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that project specifications are met and that all systems are integrated seamlessly. You are detail-oriented and have a proven track record of managing project schedules and budgets effectively.
What you'll do
As a Program Manager at OpenAI, you will oversee the design, bid, implementation, commissioning, and handover processes for various infrastructure projects. This includes managing the installation of network infrastructure, audio-visual systems, and physical security systems. You will work closely with the Corporate Security team to ensure that all security measures are integrated into the infrastructure design.
You will be responsible for developing drawing packages and specification narratives to support project design and execution. Your role will also involve managing procurement processes and providing guidance on budget and cost management to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will identify, categorize, mitigate, and monitor project delivery risks, ensuring that all potential issues are addressed proactively.
