OpenAI is hiring a Sales Lead for Korea to drive the sales strategy and lead a team of sales professionals. You'll work closely with customers to help them leverage AI technologies. This role requires significant sales leadership experience.

Who you are

You have significant sales leadership experience, ideally in technology or AI, and a comprehensive understanding of AI technologies β€” you know how to navigate complex sales environments and adapt to fast-changing technology landscapes. You possess strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to build and maintain executive relationships with clients while leading a team effectively.

You are a proven leader who can collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, developer relations, operations, and core GTM teams β€” your ability to mentor and guide a sales team is essential for achieving successful deployments with customers. You thrive in a role that combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, ensuring that your team meets its sales targets.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving and implementing the overall sales strategy for OpenAI in Korea β€” your leadership will guide the sales team in customer acquisition and account management. You will own executive relationships, ensuring that customers understand the deep impact that AI models can bring to their business and users. Your responsibilities will include recruiting and leading a team of sales professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and success.

You will work closely with the Go To Market (GTM) team to create valuable solutions that help bring AI to as many users as possible β€” your insights will shape how customers learn to leverage and deploy OpenAI's AI products across their businesses. You will also be involved in mentoring your team, helping them grow their skills and achieve their professional goals.
