What you'll do

In this role, you will be a key driver of OpenGov's success by providing legal support for commercial transactions and contracts. You will draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to identify legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Your role will involve advising on legal issues related to product development and deployment, as well as providing guidance on regulatory compliance. You will also play a crucial role in developing and implementing policies and procedures that enhance the efficiency of the legal team. As you work in a fast-paced environment, you will need to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Your contributions will help shape the legal framework that supports OpenGov's innovative solutions for local and state governments.
