What you'll do

As the Senior Corporate Counsel at Veracode, you will serve as a key legal advisor, providing guidance on all legal, regulatory, compliance, and contractual matters. You will work closely with executive leadership, product teams, HR, and sales to mitigate risk and support growth initiatives. Your responsibilities will include advising on corporate governance and risk management strategies, performing corporate secretarial duties, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity, privacy, and data protection laws. You will draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, including customer agreements, to support corporate Go-To-Market efforts.

In addition, you will oversee the legal aspects of product development, ensuring that privacy-by-design and secure-by-design principles are embedded in the process. You will advise on regulatory compliance efforts and internal policies, including training and enforcement, to foster a culture of compliance within the organization. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the legal strategy of Veracode as it continues to lead in Application Risk Management for the AI era.
