You have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on building and maintaining data infrastructure. Your expertise in Azure is complemented by experience with AWS and GCP, allowing you to navigate various cloud environments effectively. You understand the importance of data quality and accessibility, and you have a proven track record of developing data integration pipelines that support organizational decision-making.
You possess strong leadership skills, having led teams in previous roles, and you are passionate about mentoring junior engineers. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders makes you an effective collaborator across departments. You thrive in environments where data is a priority, and you are committed to ensuring that data assets are secure and reliable.
What you'll do
As the Data Engineering Team Lead, you will oversee the management and maintenance of the Microsoft Fabric platform, ensuring its performance, reliability, and security. You will lead the development of a Master Data Management (MDM) layer, enhancing the architecture to serve data close to real-time for internal applications. Your role will involve proactive monitoring and capacity optimization of OneLake, Lakehouses, and Warehouses, ensuring that the data infrastructure meets the needs of the organization.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions that enable data-driven decision-making. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing data integration pipelines, managing existing data warehouses and lakes, and ensuring the quality of data assets. You will also be responsible for mentoring team members and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the data engineering team.
