What you'll do
As a Junior FPGA Engineer at Optiver, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on building hardware-based trading systems. Your responsibilities will include designing and maintaining proprietary trading systems, ensuring that your FPGA designs are highly reliable and optimized for the lowest latency possible. You will collaborate closely with FPGA hardware and software engineers, learning the intricacies of trading systems and the engineering principles that drive their success. You will have the opportunity to iterate and release new versions of the platform multiple times a week, allowing you to see the immediate impact of your contributions. Throughout your first months, you will participate in the βTrading for Non-Tradersβ program to gain insights into the financial industry, enhancing your understanding of the context in which your engineering work takes place.
