What you'll do
As a Graduate FPGA Engineer at Optiver, you will own the entire development pipeline, from idea generation to development, testing, and monitoring. You will collaborate with a team of FPGA Hardware and Software Engineers to design and maintain proprietary trading systems that are crucial to Optiver's success. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness of trading strategies by producing highly-reliable FPGA designs that secure the lowest latency possible.
You will engage in continuous learning about the ins-and-outs of trading systems and the engineering principles that underpin their success. Your role will involve iterating and releasing new versions of the platform multiple times a week, allowing you to see the immediate impact of your contributions. You will be part of a respectful engineering environment that values collaboration and innovation, where your ideas and solutions will be welcomed and encouraged.
