Overview

Optiver is seeking a Senior Cash Equity German Institutional Sales professional to drive revenue and build relationships within the German cash equity market. This role is based in London and requires strong selling capabilities.

Who you are

You have significant experience in institutional sales, particularly within the German cash equity market — your ability to build and maintain relationships with market participants sets you apart. You possess strong selling capabilities and a deep understanding of market dynamics, which allows you to effectively engage with counterparties across the globe. Your experience in trading and market making gives you a unique perspective on how to inject liquidity and improve market conditions.

You thrive in a collaborative environment and understand the importance of teamwork in achieving business objectives. Your communication skills enable you to articulate complex concepts clearly, fostering trust and rapport with clients and colleagues alike. You are driven by results and have a proven track record of driving revenue growth in previous roles.

What you'll do

In this role, you will play a key part in growing Optiver's direct counterparty franchise. You will establish, develop, and maintain relationships with institutional clients, focusing on the German cash equity market. Your responsibilities will include identifying new business opportunities, engaging with clients to understand their needs, and providing tailored solutions that enhance their trading experience. You will collaborate closely with trading desks to steer their evolution and growth into new markets, ensuring that Optiver remains a trusted partner in the industry.

You will also contribute to the overall strategy of the Institutional Sales team, leveraging your insights and market knowledge to inform decision-making and drive success. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing Optiver's market participant network and ensuring that the firm continues to thrive in all market conditions.
