What you'll do

As the APAC Information Security Operations Lead at Optiver, you will be responsible for building and leading a team of security engineers and analysts. Your primary focus will be on managing performance, career development, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality security operations. You will work closely with the Global Head of Information Security and other regional leads to align your team's efforts with global security objectives. Your role will involve guiding your team through operational challenges, coaching engineers, and driving the team's roadmap to enhance security practices across the organization.

You will oversee the implementation of security measures and protocols, ensuring that the integrity of Optiver's security operations is maintained. This includes developing and refining processes for incident response, vulnerability management, and security monitoring. You will also play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement within your team, encouraging innovation and proactive problem-solving.

Collaboration will be essential in this role, as you will partner with various stakeholders across the organization to ensure that security considerations are integrated into all aspects of Optiver's operations. You will also be involved in training and mentoring team members, helping them to develop their skills and advance their careers in information security.
