You have a solid background in software engineering with a focus on infrastructure — your experience includes designing and implementing systems that manage complex infrastructures. You are proficient in Python and have a good understanding of Linux, which allows you to contribute effectively to the team. Your knowledge of networking principles and Linux Kernel internals sets you apart, enabling you to tackle infrastructure challenges with confidence.

You are passionate about Infrastructure as Code and understand its importance in scaling and maintaining high standards in infrastructure management.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer in the Infrastructure Department, you will participate in the design and implementation of systems used to manage Optiver's infrastructure. You will write primarily in Python, contributing to the development of robust and reliable infrastructure solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with team members from various backgrounds, including Linux and Infra-Platform teams, to ensure that the infrastructure is efficient and scalable.
You will be responsible for modeling, provisioning, and configuring infrastructure components, ensuring that they meet the high-performance standards required by Optiver's trading systems.
