What you'll do

In this role, you will maintain Oscar's forecasting, valuation, and pricing processes for several ACA markets. You will oversee the regular maintenance and review of actuarial models used to develop pricing, forecasting, trend analytics, and IBNR projections. You will play an important role in developing and submitting regulatory filings, ensuring consistency and standardization across team users. You will also contribute to the accrual setting process, providing insights and recommendations that will guide strategic pricing decisions. Your work will directly impact Oscar's ability to serve its members effectively, and you will collaborate closely with the Manager, Actuarial to achieve these goals. You will be part of a hybrid work schedule, requiring three days in the office, including mandatory team meetings on Thursdays.
