Who you are
You have a strong background in actuarial science and experience in risk adjustment, particularly within the Affordable Care Act (ACA) markets. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent analytical skills, allowing you to maintain and enhance actuarial models effectively. Your ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams makes you a valuable asset in a dynamic environment. You are comfortable with data analysis and have a passion for using your skills to make a significant impact in the health insurance industry.
What you'll do
As a Senior Actuarial Analyst at Oscar, you will play a key role in the valuation function, focusing on risk adjustment across all ACA markets. You will own the maintenance and review of actuarial models used to develop risk adjustment accrual estimates and forecasting estimates. Your work will involve collaborating with other team members to ensure consistency and standardization across all team users. You will also have the opportunity to work on interesting projects that have a big impact on the organization and its members.
What we offer
Oscar provides a competitive salary range of $101,844 - $133,670.25 per year, along with employee benefits and participation in an unlimited vacation program. You will work in a hybrid environment, with three days in the office each week, including a required in-office day for team meetings.
