Oscar is hiring an Associate, Risk/Compliance to join their Corporate Compliance team. You'll ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards while providing training to team members. This position is based in Tempe, Arizona with a hybrid work schedule.

Who you are
You are an entry-level professional eager to start your career in compliance and risk management. You have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, which allows you to effectively review operational practices and enforce policies. You are a strong communicator, capable of conveying compliance requirements to various departments and ensuring that all team members are informed about necessary procedures. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are excited to contribute to a team focused on compliance excellence.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that Oscar complies with all relevant industry specifications, standards, regulations, and laws. You will review operational practices and create and enforce policies and procedures that align with compliance requirements. Your role will involve performing regulatory reviews and communicating with all relevant departments to maintain current compliance levels. Additionally, you will provide training to team members regarding regulatory compliance, ensuring that everyone is aware of the procedures to follow. You will report to the Senior Manager of Corporate Compliance and work closely with other team members to foster a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
What we offer
Oscar offers a competitive salary range of $88,560 - $116,235 per year, along with employee benefits and participation in an unlimited vacation program. You will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, with three days in the office each week, including a mandatory in-office day for team meetings.
