You have 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, focusing on developing predictive models and analyzing member behavior in the healthcare industry. Your expertise in SQL and Python allows you to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively, and you are comfortable using statistical analysis techniques to derive insights.

You possess a strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and their applications in marketing, enabling you to design targeted campaigns that resonate with members. Your experience with data visualization tools helps you communicate complex findings in a clear and actionable manner, making it easier for cross-functional teams to implement your recommendations.

You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with marketing and clinical teams to achieve shared goals. Your ability to ideate and scope business cases demonstrates your strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, which are essential for driving impactful campaigns.

Desirable

Experience with multi-channel marketing campaigns is a plus, as is familiarity with optimization techniques such as Multi-Armed Bandit (MAB) algorithms. You are also open to exploring new technologies and methodologies that can enhance campaign effectiveness.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop personalized multi-channel marketing campaigns aimed at influencing key health behaviors among Oscar members. You will ideate and scope business cases, design targeted pipelines using predictive models, and launch campaigns that are monitored and optimized in real-time.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating with marketing and clinical teams to ensure that campaigns align with organizational goals of lowering medical costs. You will have accountability for the success of each campaign, utilizing traditional statistical methods and causal machine learning techniques to measure their effectiveness.

You will also be responsible for researching new methodologies and tools that can enhance the effectiveness of your campaigns. This may involve developing new machine learning models or optimizing existing ones to improve performance.
