You are proficient in using Terraform and Kubernetes for infrastructure as code and container orchestration — you understand the nuances of CI/CD pipelines and have implemented them to streamline deployment processes. Your experience with developer-focused tooling means you can create self-service infrastructure that enhances productivity.

You possess strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset — you thrive in team environments and enjoy sharing knowledge with colleagues. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly makes you a valuable asset in cross-functional discussions.

Desirable

Experience with monitoring and alerting tools is a plus, as is familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments. If you've worked in the healthcare technology sector, that would be an added advantage.

What you'll do

In this role, you will become the expert on your team's business and technical domains, focusing on DevOps and cloud best practices. You will lead initiatives to enhance the infrastructure's resilience and scalability, ensuring that it meets the needs of Oscar's engineering organization.

You will collaborate closely with other engineers to design and implement solutions that improve system performance and reliability. Your responsibilities will include managing CI/CD processes, optimizing cloud resource usage, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

You will also mentor junior engineers, helping them grow their skills in cloud technologies and best practices. Your leadership will foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Oscar provides a competitive salary range of $180,504 - $236,911 per year, along with comprehensive employee benefits.
