Osmo is seeking a Process Engineer to support their engineering and automation team in Elizabeth, NJ. You'll be responsible for ensuring smooth manufacturing processes and improving workflow systems. This role requires a strong background in process engineering.

Who you are
You have a solid background in process engineering, with experience in manufacturing environments where you have ensured that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. You understand the importance of translating manufacturing goals into reliable systems and workflows that can scale effectively. Your expertise in process controls and continuous improvement will be crucial in a high-growth automated manufacturing setting. You are comfortable working onsite and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.
Desirable
Experience with automation technologies and a strong understanding of manufacturing execution systems (MES) will be advantageous. Familiarity with AI and machine learning applications in manufacturing processes is a plus, as Osmo is focused on integrating these technologies into their operations.
What you'll do
As a Process Engineer at Osmo, you will own the day-to-day process support for manufacturing, ensuring that batches flow correctly through systems and equipment. You will be responsible for translating changes in MES configurations, updating work instructions, and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance physical workflow changes. Your role will involve developing and improving process controls to reduce inefficiencies and ensure consistent production quality. You will collaborate with the engineering and automation team to build a structure that supports continuous improvement and scalability in manufacturing operations.
You will also play a key role in identifying areas for process optimization and implementing solutions that enhance productivity. This includes analyzing production data, troubleshooting issues, and working closely with operators to ensure that processes are followed correctly. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of Osmo's manufacturing capabilities, helping to drive the company's mission forward.
