You are an entry-level Process Engineer with a keen interest in financial workflows and automation. You have a foundational understanding of programming languages such as Python, SQL, and JavaScript, and are eager to apply your skills in a real-world setting. You are detail-oriented and enjoy analyzing processes to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements. You thrive in collaborative environments and are excited to learn about fintech-specific regulatory requirements like AML/KYC and GDPR.

What you'll do

In this role, you will assist in mapping, documenting, and analyzing financial workflows, including account onboarding and trade execution. You will support senior engineers in implementing improvements to reduce inefficiencies and errors. Your contributions will include writing basic scripts to clean, transform, and automate data processing, as well as supporting the integration of APIs and automation tools. You will help build monitoring dashboards and alerts for critical process pipelines, ensuring that they operate smoothly and efficiently.

You will collaborate closely with product, operations, and compliance teams to understand their requirements and deliver process improvements. Additionally, you will work with data engineers and analysts to maintain data pipelines that feed business-critical processes. You will also support experiments with AI/ML models aimed at process automation, such as customer support chatbots and fraud detection systems. Your role will involve documenting and testing pipeline improvements to ensure their reliability and accuracy.
