You are a proven engineering leader with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, bringing deep expertise in electromechanical system design and design-for-manufacturing. You have a track record of mentoring both junior and senior engineers across various disciplines, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration. Your experience includes identifying opportunities to improve engineering systems and tools, ensuring that processes are efficient and effective. You thrive in a startup environment, excited to create an outsized impact by driving breakthrough products from concept to scale.
What you'll do
As the Principal Mechanical Engineer at Parallel Fluidics, you will serve as the principal architect of the engineering process, leading mission-critical projects that shape the future of life science tools. You will own the process of bringing next-generation hardware products from concept to scale, identifying and vetting high-volume manufacturing partners to ensure successful product launches. Your role will involve transferring high-volume products from in-house manufacturing to third-party manufacturers, ensuring that quality and efficiency are maintained throughout the process. You will collaborate closely with the manufacturing team to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, designing experiments and test methods to optimize manufacturing processes. Your leadership will be crucial in reporting progress and key insights to company leadership, driving the engineering vision forward.
