Who you are

You have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and significant experience in electromechanical system design β€” you've been a key player on high-performing engineering teams and understand the intricacies of design-for-manufacturing and automation. Your background includes mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the development of engineering processes and best practices.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with applications teams to understand customer needs and refine product requirements. Your expertise allows you to serve as a primary contributor on the development of new microfluidic hardware products, ensuring that verification and validation processes are robust before product launches.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the planning and execution of high-impact engineering projects, designing and building Parallel's next generation of automated manufacturing systems. You will find opportunities to improve in-house designed manufacturing equipment and collaborate with the manufacturing team to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement. Your responsibilities will also include transferring high-volume products from in-house manufacturing to third-party manufacturers, ensuring a seamless transition.

You will design experiments and test methods to optimize manufacturing processes, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering team. Reporting progress and key insights to company leadership will be a crucial part of your role, as you help shape the future of life science tools at Parallel Fluidics.
