You are a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, data analytics, operations, logistics, or a related field. You have a keen interest in transportation and logistics, and any internship or project experience in these areas is a plus. You are eager to learn new tools and systems related to transportation management and data analytics, demonstrating a proactive approach to your professional development.
You possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to collect, analyze, and interpret transportation data effectively. You are detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in your work, especially when it comes to auditing freight invoices and tracking transportation expenses. Your ability to identify trends and inefficiencies will contribute to cost savings and service improvements within the organization.
What you'll do
As an Outbound Transportation Logistics Coordinator, you will assist in collecting and analyzing transportation data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. You will support the tracking of transportation expenses and audit freight invoices for accuracy, ensuring compliance with vendor contracts and company policies. Your role will involve creating outbound shipments using the Transportation Management System (TMS) and collaborating with Amazon Freight on various shipment updates.
You will work closely with internal teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency in transportation. Your contributions will help streamline operations and improve service delivery, making a significant impact on the company's logistics processes.
