You have 3 to 6 years of server-side application development experience, particularly with Java and Golang, and you are deeply technical with a track record of successful delivery. Your entrepreneurial spirit is complemented by strong program and product management skills, allowing you to navigate complex projects effectively. You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to present complex plans and designs clearly. Your judgment, organizational, and problem-solving skills are top-notch, and you have a strong foundation in design and architecture principles. You make data-driven decisions that align with user needs and business goals.
Desirable
A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field would be beneficial, as well as experience in scaling, performance tuning, and optimization at both the API and storage layers.
What you'll do
As a Senior Backend Engineer at Paytm, you will collaborate with senior technology leaders to develop high-quality software that meets user demand. Your role will involve designing and implementing microservices that are robust and scalable, ensuring that they can handle the demands of millions of users. You will also work with various databases and messaging systems, including RDBMS, Kafka, and RabbitMQ, to ensure seamless data flow and processing.
