Paytm is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their Collections team in Bangalore. You'll manage legal activities related to collections, including court appearances and litigation support. This role requires strong organizational skills and adaptability in a legal environment.
Job Description
Who you are
You are an energetic and dedicated legal professional with experience in collections and litigation. You have a strong understanding of legal processes, particularly in relation to Permanent Lok Adalat activities, and are comfortable managing multiple court appearances and legal documentation. Your detail-oriented nature and excellent organizational abilities enable you to handle dynamic legal environments effectively. You are adaptable and capable of collaborating with external vendors to manage legal notices and processes efficiently.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage and coordinate all activities related to Permanent Lok Adalat cases, ensuring that all necessary documents are prepared and filed accurately. You will assist in initiating and pursuing legal actions to enhance recovery rates for the collections business, which includes preparing and filing litigations on behalf of lenders. Your responsibilities will also involve representing Paytm in court, ensuring timely filing of documents and affidavits. You will collaborate with external vendors and maintain proper record-keeping for all legal activities, adapting to the needs of the collections team as required.
