Overview

Paytm is seeking a Sales Team Lead to manage and grow the QR & Sound Box vertical in the rural market of Madhya Pradesh. You'll be responsible for team recruitment, market strategy, and product visibility. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills.

Who you are

You are an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in managing teams and driving sales growth. You possess local market knowledge and have a high level of drive, initiative, and self-motivation. Your ability to coach and mentor team members is complemented by your strong communication and negotiation skills. You are comfortable with extensive travel throughout your specified area and have a knack for networking and building relationships.

You have experience in distribution and pre-sales, and you understand the importance of visibility accountability through product deployment. Your educational background includes a graduation or post-graduation degree, equipping you with the necessary skills to excel in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for growing distribution and market share in the assigned rural areas of Madhya Pradesh. You will oversee the deployment and sale of QR & Sound Box products, ensuring that your team is effectively communicating plans and targets to minimize the expectations versus delivery gap. You will identify and recruit a sales team to align with business goals and monitor the quality parameters as suggested by management.

Your responsibilities will include planning the market size and geography for your team, conducting audits on acquisitions and sales, and ensuring that team members are actively engaging in the market. You will leverage your local market knowledge to identify potential clients and maintain relationships that drive sales. Your role will also involve validating sales efforts and ensuring that your team is consistently meeting targets.
