PermitFlow is seeking a Head of Talent to drive growth by identifying and attracting top talent. This role is pivotal in shaping the company's workforce strategy and requires strong leadership skills. The position is based in New York City with a hybrid work schedule.

You have extensive experience in talent acquisition and management, ideally within the tech or AI sectors — you've successfully built teams that drive innovation and growth in fast-paced environments. Your understanding of the construction industry and its unique challenges will enable you to attract the right talent to support PermitFlow's mission. You possess strong interpersonal skills and can effectively communicate the company's vision to potential candidates, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

You are adept at developing and implementing talent strategies that align with business objectives — you understand the importance of diversity and inclusion in building a strong workforce. Your experience in leveraging data to inform hiring decisions and improve recruitment processes sets you apart. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with leadership to identify talent needs and develop succession plans.

What you'll do

As the Head of Talent at PermitFlow, you will lead the talent acquisition strategy to attract top-tier candidates who align with our mission of redefining construction through AI. You will work closely with department heads to understand their hiring needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies. Your role will involve overseeing the entire recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and making hiring decisions.

You will also be responsible for fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the talent acquisition team — you'll implement best practices and innovative approaches to enhance the candidate experience and streamline hiring processes. Additionally, you will play a key role in promoting PermitFlow's employer brand, ensuring that we are recognized as an employer of choice in the tech and construction sectors.
