Who you are

With over 8 years of experience as a Solutions Architect or Data Engineer, you have a proven track record of designing and implementing robust data solutions. Your hands-on expertise allows you to develop end-to-end technical solutions that ensure performance, security, and scalability. You have a strong programming background in Java, Python, and Scala, enabling you to tackle complex data challenges effectively.

You possess deep knowledge of core cloud data platforms, including Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Databricks, and GCP. Your proficiency in SQL allows you to write, debug, and optimize queries, ensuring data integrity and performance. As a team lead, you have experience mentoring other engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.

Your client-facing communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You thrive in a remote-first environment, embracing the flexibility and autonomy it offers while maintaining a strong commitment to delivering results.

Desirable

Experience with Fivetran, Pinecone, Glean, and Atlation is a plus, as is familiarity with data integration and ETL processes. A background in data architecture and cloud certifications will further enhance your candidacy.

What you'll do

In this role, you will join phData's innovative team, working closely with major cloud data platforms to deliver cutting-edge services and solutions. You will lead the design and implementation of data solutions that address the toughest challenges faced by global enterprises. Your responsibilities will include developing technical architectures, ensuring data integration, and optimizing performance across various platforms.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client needs and translate them into actionable technical solutions. Your role will involve mentoring junior engineers, guiding them through complex projects, and fostering a culture of technological curiosity and ownership within the team.

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will also be responsible for staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring that phData remains at the forefront of the modern data stack. You will participate in client meetings, presenting solutions and strategies that align with their business objectives.
