Who you are

You have 2+ years of hands-on experience in user operations and/or email marketing — you've successfully managed communication strategies that engage users across multiple countries in the APAC region. Your familiarity with email marketing, push notifications, and SMS allows you to create effective user journeys that enhance lifecycle value.

You are skilled in automation and segmentation, ensuring that user communications are personalized and relevant. Your experience with CRM/email integrations means you can effectively manage user data and optimize campaigns based on insights. You possess excellent project management and communication skills, enabling you to collaborate cross-functionally with growth, content, product, and design teams.

Your analytical mindset drives you to test and optimize communication strategies, using data to inform decisions and improve user engagement. You are fluent in English and Chinese, which helps you navigate diverse audiences in the region. Understanding regional privacy laws such as PDPA and GDPR is second nature to you, ensuring compliance in all marketing efforts.

Desirable

Experience with Klaviyo, Salesforce, or other omnichannel communication tools is a plus, as is knowledge of HTML/CSS for editing email templates. Proficiency in Japanese or Korean would further enhance your ability to connect with a broader audience.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage end-to-end user communication channels, including EDM and push notifications, across multi-country audiences in the APAC region. You will test and optimize communications and content strategies to grow user lifecycle value for each country, ensuring that messaging resonates with local audiences.

You will build and manage automation, dynamic content, and personalized user journeys, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with product and design initiatives. Overseeing list hygiene, growth, and segmentation will be crucial to maintaining effective communication strategies that comply with PDPA, GDPR, and CAN-SPAM regulations.

Your role will involve analyzing user data to inform your strategies, allowing you to make data-driven decisions that enhance user engagement and retention. You will also be responsible for reporting on the effectiveness of campaigns and making recommendations for improvements based on your findings.
